Music should invoke an emotion; at the very least, it should move some internal rhythm.
Music is the universal language; we have been listening to a (insert heart) beat since conception.
There are different languages (styles) of music, some you’ll understand, some you won’t. It’s ok if you don’t know them all.
Music often defines specific periods of my life; anger in my early teens, moody in my late, now it’s all about the jam, it has to be tight. Life often imitates art, or is that the other way?
Music should be performed with passion. Nothing is more draining then a contrived performance.
Music becomes an extension of the natural world we move in; seasons define the sound of music.

Fresh Herb and Goat Cheese Stuffed Grilled Portobellos
Recipe courtesy Chef Jon Bonnell
Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 5 servings
User Rating:
5 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed
Extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 ounces fresh goat cheese (recommended: Deborah Rogers Farmstead Goat Cheese)
1 small clove garlic, minced
2 sprigs fresh thyme
2 sprigs fresh cilantro
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 sprig fresh dill
3 to 4 large fresh basil leaves
Clean the dark black gills from the mushrooms, then drizzle with a little olive oil, season with salt and pepper and place over medium heat on an open barbecue grill, face down. After a few minutes, turn them over and continue to cook.
In a mixing bowl combine the goat cheese with minced garlic, salt and pepper, to taste, and the mixture of fresh herbs torn by hand.
Mix the cheese until all of the ingredients have been incorporated and a nice creamy texture is achieved.
When the mushrooms begin to get soft and give off a little of their juice, add a nice spoonful of the goat cheese mixture right into the center of each portobello.
Close the lid of the barbecue and let cook until the cheese gets bubbly and the mushrooms are nice and soft.

November 17th, 2005 by FreshAfter having a conversation with a new friend last nite, I was inspired to upload some old photos to Killasubz.com. You can check them out in the Gallery.
There are albums from past Clandestine nites, an album from the first SF Love Parade, an album from the ‘Subz boys recent wine tasting excursion, etc. Check them out, post a comment, show them to your friends.
Just don’t doctor them and put us in compromising situations!

“We do not torture”
November 7th, 2005 by FreshPANAMA CITY (Reuters) – The U.S. government is aggressively taking action to protect Americans from terrorism but “we do not torture,” President Bush said on Monday, responding to criticism of reported secret CIA prisons and the handling of terrorism suspects.
So we don’t torture, but what do we do in these “black hole” prisons that no one has access to? I’m sure it’s not all peaches and cream for anyone unfortunately stuck in one.
Why not dispel any rumors and allow the media or other legitimate parties access. Openess would go a long way towards repairing any damage done to our reputation.
