Music should invoke an emotion; at the very least, it should move some internal rhythm.
Music is the universal language; we have been listening to a (insert heart) beat since conception.
There are different languages (styles) of music, some you’ll understand, some you won’t. It’s ok if you don’t know them all.
Music often defines specific periods of my life; anger in my early teens, moody in my late, now it’s all about the jam, it has to be tight. Life often imitates art, or is that the other way?
Music should be performed with passion. Nothing is more draining then a contrived performance.
Music becomes an extension of the natural world we move in; seasons define the sound of music.
